"2015" It's In Our Hands...

Giving reader's eyes a lil' break for my 1st of year post; by sharing a New Year's greeting via video.  Enjoy!

On the 12th Day of Christmas...

On the 12th day of Christmas  my readers said to me, do a drumroll... for the hands down  best of the best books  THIS YEAR  that had me hooked.
Out of 50 books read this year… books that made me laugh…lifted my spirits… made me think… had me crying… encouraged me… titles that charmed me… cover art that beguiled me… Here Are the Top 10 Books (in no particular order, other than alphabetical) that wholly won me over in each category. (*denotes book was published 2014)

On the 9th Day of Christmas...

On the 9th day of Christmas my readers said to me praise the best titles you couldn’t refuse...
Many things make me look, but just because I look doesn’t guarantee it’s going to be a good book.

These were the books that caught my attention solely based on the title and turned out to be just good on the inside, as the outside.

On the 8th Day of Christmas...

On the 8th day of Christmas my readers said to me, share them page-turners that pulled you through
This year my health has not been great, and I lost my baby brother. What pulled me through a turbulent year was reading genuine page-turners. Below are most favored honorable mentions not included among my all-time favorite books read this year. Please visit back for that list!

On the 3rd Day of Christmas...

On the 3rd day of Christmas my readers said to me, reward good news...
Few things in life are more welcoming, pleasurable, and inspirational than reading upbeat articles, blog posts, and quotes. The give and take exchange that happens is similar to the exchange that happens when I review other books I’ve read.

Most authors serious about their work appreciate sincere constructive reviews, and generally are over the moon when they get one. This puts me over the moon, and as well potential readers who rely on honest constructive reviews; especially when the reader reads the book and realizes, they too loved the story. It’s an exemplar paragon of a gift that keeps on giving. Everyone in its cycle is rewarded.

Articles and Quotes that made my year brighter…

12 Days of Christmas; Gifting My Appreciation to Readers

On the first day of Christmas my readers said to me,
thank the authors for their interviews
reward good news
hug them bloggers writing the blues
don’t forget your commenters leaving you clues
and tell a story without blowing a fuse
flash a few cover reveals
share them page-turners that pulled you through
praise the best titles you couldn’t refuse
halo the covers that made you look
spotlight the authors you would reread
and do a drumroll...
for the hands down the best of the best books
THIS YEAR that had you hooked.

Starting today I’m gifting a Top Ten List of the best times to read a book.
