Best Kept Secret

This post is for all those who have bought Christmas presents and will be looking for great places to hide them. This post also is for those who hide gifts so well, like loose change and secrets, that they can’t find them. For those who create passwords so fE3n?m3nA! that it defeats the purpose, this post is for you too. Anyone looking for a brilliant exercise that preserves the bones, builds muscle and kaPoWs calories will as well enjoy this post. And last, but not least, if you are looking for wining and dining on high-end entertainment, don’t stop reading here.

Forget (for a minute at least) hiding gifts in the atypical places like back in the store, or in somebody else’s house... or crawl spaces... attics... beneath loose floorboards... or in the freezer, like inside ice-cream... or in the chimney, trunk of a car, or in safes and vaults and you get the point. Do you know the best place to hide things?

First of all, let’s deal with the Grinch, since the Grinch is who got us looking for hiding places in the first place. Contrary to popular belief, the Grinch is anyone who, innocently or intentionally, steals joy. A child, or grown adult for that matter, who snoops around looking for their Christmas gifts is as much a scrooge as the Hallmark TV Grinch. Both are stealing the joy of the holiday. Let’s face it. It’s no fun knowing what’s inside the gift box before opening it, for either you or the gifter. Totally spoils the moment and ruins the occasion... and yes, for the record I have played the Grinch on more than a few occasions.

For anyone looking to truly hide ‘things’ ...or find ‘things’, I wonder how many have already guessed A Book outranks the best hiding places of all; and that being Every.Single.Hiding.Place.
