Understanding Love

I just finished reading Anne Moody's autobiography 'Coming of Age in Mississippi' and now even more convinced that love and empathy remains in high demand.

Walking a mile in the shoes of others, seeking to understand (BEFORE assumptions or judgment), READING MEMOIRS and/or Autobiographies, and even watching TV documentaries are activities that increases empathy and improves social interactions. Education is Key. You can't fix a problem you don't understand, and you'll never resolve an issue that must be fought, enforced and guarded. "Change their hearts, and you'll change their minds."

Recognizing Valentine's Day (celebrated February 14th) I suggest, instead of looking for individuals with a pretty face or perfect credit score, first seek friendships. Understanding HOW TO LOVE should never go out of style.
