What is Black?

To answer the question, black is a color, a beautiful color, my favorite colorā€¦clipping in here. When invited to an affair, and if at the bottom of the invite it reads ā€˜black & white affairā€™, you know this affair is going to be classy. Black is a slimming color too, job interview appropriate, hides a number of flaws and goes with every color on the pinwheel. Silver, Gold, Orange, Yellow, Lime Green, Pinkā€¦shouting out a few... are especially emboldened and appear that much more vibrant and brighter when paired with black. Black rose, black velvet (fabric and liquor), and letā€™s face it, no dish cooks better than in a cast iron black skillet. Black leather is sexy, and black vehicles are striking, riveting when shinning, and pure black skin, a rare sight to see, is immobilizing. Have you ever seen a black stallion? Jusā€™ GOā€™JUS I tell you! Emphatically, unequivocally ā€˜try to take your eyes offā€™ black beauty. I mean like, come on now. Who that loves coffee and tea, doesnā€™t champion black coffeeā€¦ or tea?

At any rate, while black is my favorite color, and we can go on and on listing every single thing that is unadulterated black and beautiful, I prefer colored purses, shoes, drawingsā€¦ and ā€˜oh so addictedā€™ to colorful stories. The more color, the better, which to my utter and complete marvel I just finished reading a near 500 page book so dark that it shines light on (see last post) that ā€˜hard act to followā€™.  (Thoughts on Bullwhip Days).
